I ran a Koyorad with 2 mishimoto slim fans and stock thermostat. The fans destroyed the fins and hitting a deer bent the support back which cracked it, it still cooled fine haha. I just installed a new koyo with single spal fan, mishimoto thermostat, and a custom fan shroud. I'm interested to see the improvement

Iv had 2 Koyos leak. If this one starts leaking I'm going Mishimoto or PWR.

I'm still on stock thermostat. Haven't had a need to change that out. I'll have some more information tomorrow when I drive in the ridiculous heat down to PTuning.

Second fan isn't necessary IMO (With the ptuning kit aka SPAL fan). When I was putting in the koyo radiator and getting air out of the system the fans would come on around 190-192 (according to my coolant sensor in upper radiator hose) and coolant temps would drop to ~180-184 with the normal fan cycle 1x. Rinse repeat for as needed. Seeing as how the temps are controlled this way even in stop/go traffic I don't think a second fan is necessary.

Here's my setup:

Koyo rad / Skunk2 1.3bar cap
2 FAL Civic fans
Custom mount/shroud
75% distilled water
25% antifreeze
1 bottle Redline Water Wetter

Was recently on the dyno for about 2.5hrs doing partial and WOT tuning...tuner said temps stayed right around 200 degrees the whole time.
