I believe there would be less of an rpm drop between shifts with a 5-speed transmission. Am I correct?

what tire pressure are u guys running?...yesterday i took the car to the track made 2 passes which almost put me in the wall on low boost as soon as i got in my power band the ass kicked out and because very unstable. first pass was 12psi and the second pass was 15 psi which was way worst so im guessing i should have went 10 psi? im using m&h 26x10 slicks and 27x4.5x16 front runners

You'll still have issues with stiff sidewalls if the track isn't there. More times than not, that is the problem. Don't start changing a bunch of stuff if the track is marginal. I did that a lot over the last 2 seasons thinking there was something wrong with the car and the setup and wasted a lot of money for no reason.

If the track isn't there, it doesn't matter what tire, pressure, suspension etc. you are running. With a 94.5" wheelbase, you don't have that working for you either.

I've tried several different tire setups and they all act the same on good and bad tracks. S2000's aren't easy cars to get down the track, it's just the nature of the way the car is. Eventually you'll just get used to it and start driving through it....haha.

i wish i had vids so u could see how bad it was....idk if its the track because other cars ran with slicks and they seem to be hooking and going straight but like u said its not easy going straight in this car
