Just got my car back from the shop...
About six weeks ago I noticed that one of the OEM studs which holds the turbo manifold to the block was broken off, so I dropped off my car at a local speed shop I use for repair. Upon removing the turbo and turbo manifold they found a small crack in the manifold and some oil speepage from the compressor side of the turbo. So, I had those items sent back to Full-Race for repair. Full-Race sent the manifold, which had been coated by HPC, back to HPC so that they could sand-blast it prior to Full-Race repairing the crack. Full-Race then repaired the crack and sent it back to HPC for recoating. For whatever reason the 1600 degree coating in gray kept blistering in the oven, so they ended up using black (I wasn't too happy about that). This process took almost 5 weeks! Full-Race also simulatenously sent the turbo back to Garrett for repair/inspection. Almost five weeks later the turbo was sent back to Full-Race good as new.
The items were received at the shop I use on Tuesday and they just finished putting everything back together today. I went to pick-up my car earlier this afternoon and prior to leaving with the I took it for a quick spin around the block. I had some pretty bad vibrations under boost and returned to the shop with a not-so-happy look on my face. It turns out that the turbo is sitting about 1/8" from the frame and is making contact under load. I decided to take the car home so I could give it a quick wash and will bring it back tomorrow. They are going to remove the kit, notch a small hole in the frame and weld in some material to maintain the integrity of the frame and reinstall the kit. I am also going to have them make a 3" single exhaust.
Hopefully they will only have my car for 3-4 days this time. I have yet to have the car fully tuned.

Darn all that sucks
Over 1000 miles on my full race kit and so far no problems. Well except for heat(even with 2000 degree coating and header wrap).
My gt30 did hit the frame until i put on my engine damper.

Which engine damper do you have? May I see a pic?
