Ahh. Thought you guys were going to do another V-mount. But i bet that front mount works a lot better than that ghetto rigged V-mount with the slanted stock radiator.

Nice work~

Yeah I didn't have a good core size for a vmount. And the air conditioning is eventually going back on the car. I know it's possible top keep the condenser there, but going to a factory setup just keeps things simple.

A double pass radiator came in yesterday. It's not the one made for the S2000, so it has to be modified (shortened, mounts located, inlet/outlets redone). Honestly it's only really worth it since I can do the work....otherwise buying the double pass S2000 makes more sense.

The log manifold is going in the garbage....everything hot-side is getting replaced, and a Borg sxe (6268) is going to replace the old turbo. Fitting the borg(with a decent sized air filter) is going to be a pain with the factory crossbeam still there.

Then the clutch will be replaced with an ACT unit. Those are the main goals now.

Replacing the oem clutch with the common ACT/oem combo.

Also got the borg "s362sxe"

haha I like your ring gear holder. Excited to hear your impressions of the SXE turbo; I'm thinking about making the switch (currently have a cast wheel on my s366).

Yeah, I am curious on how it behaves. I would imagine a lot like my s360 (sharing the same turbine wheel), just more efficient. For now it will only see 450-500whp at the most, due to the fuel system.

Starting on the manifold collector and #1 runner.

Locating the turbo with the inlet flange.

I haven't done a lot of manifolds, especially with sch 40 wall pipe. I hate having to bevel everything, takes too much time for me. Its the only way I can get decent penetration though.

Root pass

Finished #1 runner

A coupler more runners

More manifold work

Here is the old manifolds runner to flange connection. The pipe was pinched down quite a bit, causing an obstructing lip.

If you sold that heater line bracket, EPS module/fuse box bracket, and heat shield as a set, I'd totally buy it. It's so clean! Nice work so far

I'm so jealous of people that can weld. This is awesome. Added to the build index under custom also.

Some parts...a skunk2 megapower rear section will be used. Going to route 3" from the turbo to the rear piece. Also a couple of tial mvs gates.

Locating the wastegates on the collector

Downpipe

Modified the hot side charge pipe, was much easier than I expected.

Some dumptube mockup, and the red gates put on.
