I am a little dissappointed as to how hard the car pulls in 6th gear though when I floor it. I would have thought that, once the turbo was fully spooled, it would rocket forward. Don't get me wrong--it accelerates pretty good, it just doesn't throw me back in my seat the seat way the lower gears do.
Can somebody please comment on this? It seems very strange to me that, given the decent amount of power, the car isn't accelerating faster in 6th gear.

Congrats! I'm glad to see that you got it all installed and tuned. Enjoy it, its a blast. I think that your gears might be hurting you though more than they are helping. I have no traction issues in any gear and i'm making similar #'s to you, but with stock gears. Just a thought.

Are you saying if you put the car into 6th when you are doing 60mph and floor it? Or when you redline 5th and hit 6th? Just think how the car use to pull before it was turbo if you were lugging in a gear, it couldn't get out of its own way. Its kind of hard to get neck breaking accelleration when you are in 3 gears higher than you should be (assuming that you are dropping it in 6th at lower speeds).

Thanks bro! The 4.57-R FD may be affecting the performance. My plan is to eventually get the inlinePRO rear diff conversion kit, and I'll end up with a 4.08 FD.

Apologize for the confusion. What I am saying is that when I am cruising along at say 75 mph in 6th gear and then punch it, the car starts to accelerate, I hit full boost and it accelerates a bit faster, but not as fast as I would think it would.

Boy was that a run-on sentence.

Congrats bro!!!!!!! I need to to talk to you about a few fittings I need to hook up and I'm not sure where to hook them up to.

Well I thought at least we'd be the first to be FI'd but I guess there are other people that are already FI'd. I didn't know but it was a honest mistake. My set-up should be done this week!!!

Here is my question, You are in So cal as am I, and what are you going to do about a smog check "emissions" that is my only concern when thinkging of going turbo. Please let me know what your plan is.

Thanks,
