Default InlinePro 600hp FMIC

Well I tried to mount my intercooler today. Key word is tried. It sits super low in the grill, it just looks dumb this way. I think it was popping out like an inch below the bumper. It needs to come up like 2-3 inches. If I do that I think I would have to cut the frame rails to slide it up there. Definetly would like to avoid this option at all costs. I could mount it infront of the rails but then the bumper would really need to be hacked up. I want it to fill the grill a little better. My old spearco looked great and fit perfectly square behind the grill. How did everybody mount their IP FMIC?

Thanks
Martin

I did cut mine, had the same headaches. Other option would be to make more room by taking something off the car.
Also, having a full 600hp IC was not necessary while aiming for 350-400whp.

Here is how I mounted mine. I dont have the bumper back from paint to take photos. It's really close to the frame rail. Have not tried to fit it with the grill in.

I did not want to cut the frame rails, so this is as good as it gets w/o cutting.

mine was hanging below the bumper, then my buddy moved it up an inch or 2, hopefully he will chime in, he didn't cut anything but it took him like an hour and had to lower the bolt with floss to have it work out
