inline pro kit
i'm looking in to buying an inlinepro turbo kit for my AP1. generally how reliable have inlinepro kits been for all you users out there? share your experiences, please. also if i get an inlinepro kit, is it bolt-on (and of course tuning) or do i have to get major engine surgery for the kit to work properly??

even though i have a custom kit, inlinepro is probably the most reliable turbo kit out there.
it is not bolt on
you have to relocate the oil filter
if you get a GT35 turbo, you will need to cut the frame a little bit
that's all i can say

The oil filter does NOT need to be relocated.
Smaller-housing turbos do not require the notching of the frame.
As for reliability....I think the sheer number of owners running Inline kits with zero issues speaks for itself.

It's more bolt on than you think...

I couldn't imagine trying to unbolt my turbo housing every time I changed the oil to get the filter out. I have the sc61 and there is no way that I could do an oil change in less then 2 hours without moving the filter to the front.

inline pro makes an oil filter relocation kit, which makes the kit more bolt on than anything. My kit was completely bolt on, there wasn't anything out of the ordinary that i had to do. I ran inline pro for over a year and never any problems

thanks again! another question that came to me in my sleep--if i were to gun my engine, do i run the risk of blowing it or causing any damage if i just do the bolt-on kit (no engine internal modifications)? do they include plug and play engine management? i'm asking all of this to you guys instead of going to inlinepro's site because i might be buying it used.
