Best price I find for ID1050X is around 520€.

It is really difficult to know if the quality difference is worth the money

And how do you know that the set on your link fits the AP1 ?? (length, O-ring sizes, connector ...)
It isn't difficult at all, read the articles we have posted explaining where the differences are at.

I got pretty lucky and found the fault before mounting though, otherwise I might have sprayed down the engine with fuel and if really unlucky burnt it down.

The injector I linked to is the same size as the ID1050X but it has no top or bottom adapter.
If I remember correctly pre facelift has 11mm top and those thick spacers on the bottom, you can get those separately from many places or maybe from same place in a ready package.

It might be even cheaper from some french store, I mostly linked to finjector for their great assortment and that they also seem very trustworthy.
I'm not using my ID adapters so I can check the lengths on them later for reference if you want.
As unlikely was you want to find that damage happening at our facility, the chances are about 0%. Each injector is hand assembled with the adapters and it would have been caught during this process. We take pride in our work and it's obvious in nearly every regard. Given the fact you are in Sweden I would imagine it was probably difficult for one of our reps to understand you wanting a replacement o-ring sent from the US when a local solution was much easier for you and us. Even if it was something we were at fault for it would make more sense for us reimburse you for one locally or find a better solution than sending a $75 package across the world for a $1 o-ring. I would rather not waste the time addressing your fuel flow testing bench as you already admitted it was pretty worthless.

Your injectors comes in a sealed plastic bag, one slot for each injector.
How big of a chance would it be that someone in the distribution chain opened up the box, took out all four, disassembled one and then damaged that, assembled it again and
then sealed it up with all for again?
I don't really care about paying for an o-ring, I was just hoping for some kind of interest to solve the issue or an excuse but there was none.

I would say more likely than the chance of someone grinding one down like that, putting an adapter top on it, and sending it out. I can't tell you at what point it happened obviously, but it wasn't before it left out facility.
