the polyurethane mounts also have a tendency to melt when used on a bottom mount turbo setup

Hmm Ive had my innovatives on for some time now, with some harsh mountain driving and no issues thusfar... that is scary tho, was it just that the bolt was too long?

Very scary indeed. Who would think that a $0.25 fastener could kill an engine like that?!? Maybe best to stick with OE for a daily driven car.

i wonder if he overtorqued the ever loving shit out of the bolt. there are tq specs for a reason.

sucks though. and i agree, for a daily driven car just keep replacing stock mounts. i have an innovate trans mount and the car vibrates at idle. its annoying. id go back to stock if i wasnt lazy

I did the oem mount thing for 3 years and replaced 3 torn mounts.

I then switched to innovative for about a day until my pass mount melted. (Worst purchase ever!) Got warranty 75A bushings and sold those mounts ASAP!

Now I have hardrace OEM replacement mounts. These things are awesome! Easy to install, uses oem hardware, more feedback than stock but not enough to rattle anything in the interior. Feels like they should have been installed from factory! Anyone thinking of upgrading should give these a try first.

The red 60a ones right? It prolly was me. I bought them and only installed the trans mount. Then I got worried car would vibrate even worse with all of them and said f it. Man that sucks it melted on u? They need to replace that. Sucks .

So these oem replacement ones. Got a link? Just on case mine shit the bed.

Here I guess http://www.hardrace.com/products.asp...1&strClass2=31
Website has a nostalgic 90s flavor, not even sure what the checkboxes do. I'd call them.
