Default If I disconnect the MAP Sensor, should I get a CEL? w/Kpro

I have this intermittant lean, power loss, stalling issue that I have been trying to hunt down with no sucess.

I have tried to datalog......but every time I do it doesn't happen. Going to try to datalog again tonight.

I noticed today that if I unplug either the TPS or MAP sensor with the car running there is no CEL......is that normal???

If I unplug the Cam sensor the Kpro does throw a CEL......so the CEL does work.

Thanks in advance.....this is very frustrating. Went to Brooklyn on Friday to visit my Dad. It was going lean and stalling so bad that I almost didn't make it home. I pulled over to let the car cool for an hour and then it drove home fine (about 15 minutes) without any issues. I chose to have the S trailered back to PA the next day because I didn't want to have the car stall on the NJ Turnpike.

So I think I found the problem. Thanks to watch0bak for a PMing me pointing me in the right direction!!! He said that he was having MAP sensor issues which caused it to read maximum boost (randomly), which in turn caused the ECU to hit boost cut.

Well lo and behold, guess what I found on the data log that I took last night.

Mine is doing the same thing!......MAP reading 25.5 psi (I am tuned for 14.5 w/ boost cut set to 16psi)

Ordered up a new Omni power 4 bar MAP sensor, hopefully that will fix this issue.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Fix your psi scaling! Set the max to 20 psi so your boost is easier to see in the logs.

Thanks....I feel so elated!!! Especially when I bought all of SOS's Flex Fuel stuff on Friday and my car was still doing this.

Looks a hell of a lot better doesn't it lol.

No idea why Hondata sets the max that high.

Yeah I know.....maybe it's for a space shuttle turbo!

I just wanted to report back that after changing the MAP Sensor (to omnipower 4 bar) I have had zero issues.
