Default ideal turbo to run with v-mount intercooler?

Im fairly new to this FI game. I was wondering if it matters what type of turbo to run in order to use a v-mount intercooler. sorry for the super noob question. any input would be nice. thanks.

thanks for the link. i was looking to custom a kit. that link doesnt supply the turbo they are using.

Nope, doesn't matter what turbo you use as it is just a different way to mount an intercooler and radiator. Only thing that may limit you (and this is very unlikely) would be if you are using such a huge turbo (like a T-88) that a matching intercooler would just be too massive to mount like that. But that is hardly likely on our cars.
