Default Is this the IAT sensor? Were to place

I believe this is the IAT sensor. I have done some reading but im still confused on were to place this. Before I had a K&N typhoon intake and it was screwed and held in on the side of the intake (didnt actually go inside intake). But since I dont have the intake since I went turbo, were are a few places I could mount this? I have read that some people drill a hole and have it in their intake piping? Would it be ok to have it in the engine bay like how it was before I installed the turbo kit?

** Sorry for the bad pic, I was in a rush this morning and my phone broke so the spare one I have takes horrible pictures

The IAT sensor is in the manifold, I cant see the pick that well but this isnt it. If this is what I think it is (has two vac lines running to it?) If so then just zip tie it out of the way somewhere.

That looks like your intake pipe? The iat is on the back side (towards windshield) of your intake manifold. That thing you have in your hand is part of the air pump system...I think, if so just do as junky said, get it out of the way.

on AP2s they are located on the Intake piping. On Ap1s they are on the manifold. from what i've seen you'll get a better reading at the intake piping.. since hot days your manifold will be alot hotter and cold days your manifold will be much colder.

a few guys have changed their location on their ap1s to the intake piping and had a smoother cold start/idle etc.
