I want to go e85 BUT
Hey guys. I made 420 on my setup this past year on an afi manifold, gt3076r turbo, and ect. Right now I'm on 800cc injectors, and a Walbro 255.
I want to go e85 but I will obviously need to upgrade my fuel.
So. What do I need? ID 1000 and a fb340 or what ?
What about fuel sensors. I hear since I have aem v2 I can't get the sensor ?
What if I want 93 and e85 sometimes ? Would I drain the tank ? Run it low ? Switch maps between the 2 often?
Any insight guys ? Thanks

you need some id 2000cc injectors and a 340lph fuel pmp. You then need to get retuned for an e85 map. You will then have 2 maps and need to switch maps when you want to run from pump gas to e85. When u switch gas you need to eith drain the tank or run the car untill then is litter to no more gas in the tank.

The neccesity for 2000cc injectors will depend on the power level you are shooting for. If you have the money and want to future proof yourself, then sure, go for the 2000s. But if you're shooting for around 450-500whp or below, then you likely can get away with 1000cc injectors.
Just depends on what you want or can afford. You will definitely need at least 1000cc injectors though... and probably a 340lph pump too if you want to be closer to the 500whp mark (instead of the 450whp mark, which is around where the Walbro 255 will theoretically max 1000s at).

Well what would you guys do ? I have a stock unopened motor. I want to theoretically have as much power as I can without upgrading my turbo size, or building the bottom end.
So. Let's say e85. And then - id 2000? What's the limit of 1000?
Springs/retainers? Size pump? Dual pumps?
With my turbo size I'm probably limited to 500 anyways correct ? But how much boost can I run without opening the motor On e85

if u stick with id1000 injectors, then you will have to up the base pressure, which means buying an adjustabel fpr. just get the id2000 injectors and fb340 pump. stock base pressure you will make serious power.
id1000 with fb340 pump at stock base pressure will be around what you already make. not worth it to me. look at my setup, if i go e85 on my pump and injectors i will make pretty much the same power
dew it!

^^agreed with camuman, if you had 1000cc injectors currently id say just get a 340 and a fpr but regardless you have to buy a pump and injectors so might aswell get the 340 and 1600s or 2000s.

Gt3076 max out like 500-550 if you want to make more your need a gtx3076 or a gt35. I'd say just stay where your at, to much work for 50 extra horsepower, and you'll lose gas mileage, more stress on motor, trans, diff, and less gas stations around that carry e85. Not worth it to me; $1500 for more headaches
