Default I need some advice on getting head work done.

Hey guys I have some questions because I'm getting told different things by different people so I figured I would come here. My head has about 110k miles on it and I was boosted I blew the block and just bought a new one. I bought all new valves, bronze guides, retainers, seals and seats, I'm trying to find out if I should use the guides or not. A guy I just talked to said that the bronze valves cause a lot of problems with unleaded fuel which I had never heard of that before. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what I need to change. I know you cant tell if I need new guides without knowing if they are bad but lets say they are still good should I replace them?

They are not just bronze, they have manganese added, there will be no problems usining them.

I would definatly replace the guides at 110K.

im assuming you have an ap1.

new valve guides and seals would be good. you can use bronze without any problems.

u dont nessecarily have to replace the valves but at 110k miles it would be safe to since your running boost just for saftey.

the one big thing i would change is retainers and springs.

either oem springs and ap2 retainers or dual valve springs and ti aftermarket retainers. supertech is a good choice for these
