Default I need a new clucth...suggestions....?

I understand that clutches and drivetrain compnents are not part of forced induction. However, I wanted to hear from owners of Turbocharged and supercharged S2000's; "which clutch they use???" So I posted this question in the forced induction thread....(move it if you see fit)

Anyway so ya....I am planning on going turbo very soon but I wanted to upgraid the drivetrain first because I feel that the clutch and diff is very week...I know I want a comptech reinforced diff housing and a new clutch but I am not sure which clutchs are recomended. I am only doing a bolt on kit but I want a clutch that will be good for future upraides (although I do not want an all out drag clutch)

Any suggestions????? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I use a Spec stage 2 clutch and flywheel. I have no complaints...

Ya but once the diff is gone I cant use it to send to comptech for my core charge refund, so I'd rather do it first. Plus I'd rather drop the tranny once and do it all.....

Also, another question:
Its obvious that the 4.57 gears are awsome, but are they too close for turbo??? Because I drove a S2k with 4.57 gears and it was all motor with bolt ons and it ripped through the gears like crazy!!! Are they just too close for boost???

you know you dont haveto touch the tranny to get the diff out right?.........

and the 457's are fine if you are running anything under around 350whp, if you get more power than that the revs are going to move so quickly.

but since you mentiond a bolt on base turbo kit, you should be right under 350

the diff is not as weak as some people say, dumping at 9k well yea you can kill the diff, i have been using the stock diff for some time now (you can see my mods below) and i drive agressive just not from a dig. (Stop) i have a toda clutch and flywheel seems good so far..no complaints.. just read up on the diff before you get to scared. There is a yellow 04 2000 (sueprcharged) that i hang out with in shreveport with comptech diff...he has been through two in 2 months. He is very agressive from the line. if i were you i would look into the inline pro 300z conversion when that comes out then you can launch all day long...until the clutch goes out
