Well what was the fitment issues you were having exactly? Is this exhaust more for an ap1 bumper?

$1799 for a dual exhaust that does not fit right would not make me happy either. Seems a little overpriced IMO.

It appears at this time that the B-pipe is not correct. I'm not going to speculate as to what other aspects, if any, are incorrect. This is why I will be sending it back sometime this week for them to evaluate.

On another note, I can't say enough about how much of a "stand up guy" John at Hytech has been about this whole thing. He has been VERY apologetic and responsive to this whole ordeal. One He gets this back I will know more.

...and YES I have and am considering other exhausts...I will probably end up getting the same thing though...we'll see.

[QUOTE=Crackerballer,May 18 2010, 06:33 AM] Wow, $1500 for the header, and another $175 for the testpipe.

Hate all you want on expensive S2000 exhaust parts. If you spend less than 1,000 on a catback if pretty much are limited to Invidia with a butt load of drone. I'd say the Hytech goods are price very well.

The J's header is 1,600 new and is the only header that is MASS PRODUCED that can obtain good HP gains over stock. Again, I'd say the Hytech header is a damn good value.

I have not closely followed the dyno charts personally, only talked to 06S2k07Si often about it. He can provide more detailed info about this than I.

Nobody is drinking "haterade" That is an expensive system ($1800) for a dual exhaust, and for it not to fit right is a shame.

Bingo.

And the PLM and the Fast Forward have been shown to make power.

For catbacks, how about the HKS single at $560, and it's 75mm.

You don't HAVE to spend money on name brand (read expensive) bolt ons to make power. Some of the higher dollar ones happen to just make more power.

Compare the FIPK to the Password intake. FIPK = $230, PWD = $1,000 with issues.

Point is, $1700 for a header and TP is a little high for 15hp when a $400 header will get you 10hp

you do realize the PLM header is practically a copy of the J's Racing header right?

I didnt say all the exhausts under 1000 were crap, I said most of them.
