Ok guys...well...this is why I almost never get excited about anything that I do with this car...because it rarely goes as one would expect.

I got there on time at 9:00am...get through the usual "bs"ing and things finally get started around 10:30am or so. It all starts with the injectors first. Without going into a bunch of detail, it took a bit more time to get the injectors to fit correctly (not anyone's fault, we just have never used these before and they are different than the RC's). Now after lunch, we finally get the car running around 1:00pm...get through the partial throttle tuning etc. (comments have been made about the ID1000's being very impressive) and now on to full throttle tuning.

After a few pulls and tweaking there seems to be some issues with the OE knock sensor pulling a bunch of timing (as much as 12 deg) from just above idle to about 3K then fine till 5K then again from 5K to redline and we can't seem to figure out why this is happening because the engine is NOT knocking. Well it is getting to be about 3:30pm and we haven't got it figured out at this time and they usually close around 5:00pm (yes they will stay late if needed but I do not want this rushed). I live about 120 miles from there and I need to get back home so we call it a day for now.

I ended up leaving my car there so they can get to it later next week. Sorry guys...but the saga continues. As usual I will update you all when I know more.

[QUOTE=Sideways,Sep 13 2010, 10:39 PM] Installed the Hytech 3 step supercharger header and picked up 18 ft lbs torque at 8800 rpm.

Thanks for all the hard work and Header comparo vs. the J's Racing. We all appreciate it.

Glad the Hyech proved to offer gains over the J's Racing setup too
