HP limit on greddy intercooler
I've had my greddy kit for about 3 months now I'm running 10 psi.
I'm just not satisfied so I'm looking into a gt3076r to upgrade.
I was just wondering how much the greddy's intercooler in good up to?
And if its not good enough should i just go with a meth kit?
Thanks in advance for the incite.

It's probably good to 400-450 hp...
Honestly if your bored with the power you should sell the greddy kit and get something like the Mase, Inline Pro, new Ptuning kit etc...
The reward for investment in upgrading the greddy kit are just not worth it. Trust me I know, I use to have a greddy kit.

i'd agree with mid 400's on that cooler. the biggest problem you'll have with any turbo upgrade on that kit is the smaller piping that runs through the kit, not to mention the log manifold.
it would be a good idea to invest in standalone management to start, and then move up to a larger turbo later, or piece together a whole new kit as you go. i have seen greddy kits make as much as 340whp on standalone management and custom tunes at around 10psi. i think any more boost than that and you run out of turbo.
if the idea of getting a completely new kit scares your wallet, go for the management and turbo now and retune - you can always reuse both later!

Yeah I contacted greddy before my inline build and I was told it was under 400hp crank. Just email greddy they will get back with you. It is very well built though.

Good thread! Thanks for the info, guys.
I respect Greddy for making a CARB legal kit, but man... It seems like most of us buy it and then sell it for something else. We need a public service announcement or something to warn potential buyers...

boosting a car is addictive though. Once you have tried it, you just want more and more. people think 300 will be good enough but it feels good for a couple days then the feeling starts to fade

well it's definitely hard to justify the kit nowadays but when it first came out, it was actually quite the bargain considering what you paid for it BEFORE the mega price hike.
to tell you the truth, if it wasn't for the oil relocation i might still have one! i am making in the mid 300's with a supercharger right now, and i'm totally happy with the amount of power i'm making. if there was no oil relocation involved in this kit, i would have just upgraded to standalone management and left it be.
HOWEVER, the greddy kit is no longer a $3k bolt on kit with everything included - and that makes it a pretty worthless platform to start with, unless you use it as a stepping stone to a bigger kit.
