Default This is how you destroy a PPG Dogbox:(

I hit up the track yesterday and was able to knockout a few 9.9 runs. I was having a problem shiftng though and for whatever reason I kept miss-shifting. I would go in the wrong gear but it sometimes wouldn't go in the gear at all, it was weird and I just thought it was me (looking back I should have known better).

I went to the track again today and had one good run then this disasterours run. I thought the video would be more clear and you can't hear it but I think (datalogs didn't log properly) I went from 2-1 WOT

I was not able to get the car back into gear until past the traps. I had the gear lever where 1st would be but it fealt like the car was in 2nd or even third, I didn't stop and kept on going until the pits. I shut the car off and the gear lever moves all over the place, like the gates are non existent. I can start the car but when I let the clutch out it stalls. Car won't move and I can't get it into gear. Motor sounds ok but I'm pretty sure the box is completely destroyed.

Oh well, by far the worst and best $6,000 I ever spent. I feel pretty shitty and I know I've said it before but when is enough enough. I'll have the car towed to Evans after the holiday and see what's salvagable,

If you listen carefully you can hear it revving to holy hell

Yeah, something was off, I should have known better. It's one thing to miss-shift, it's another when it's almost every other pass. I don't know what happened.

It seems like the motor is ok. Hopefully I didn't F up the very expensive InlinePro head with less than 100miles on it, lol

Look at all that play in the shifter, lol. Same no matter if clutch is in or out, thoughts?

Christmas for everyone else. Standby for an epically awesome part out.

I just have to figure out if it makes sense to put the AP2 tranny back in and try and sell the car as a whole, or just part it out.

The only real valuable parts are

ID1000
AEM EMS 2
Inline pro head
CC twindisk (practically brand F'ng new)
IR R200
Wheels
Hardtop
