HOW to Self Tune
I have been trying to tune my down s2000. I wonder if there was anyone on this forum that has this skill set. There isn't too much info you YouTube. I've seen a couple of people street tune with a laptop.

The books by Greg Banish are a great read in regards to tuning.

This personally isnt an area I take lightly nor would I trust anyone (myself included) that isn't more than 100% capable in completing the task. Proper equipment is included in that as well. I'd pay the $500+ for a tune n not be worrying about anything n just enjoy the car

I've been tuning for something like 12-13 years and learned out of necessity. However, this is not a subject to take lightly and learning on a boosted motor makes things go south very quickly. If you want to start tuning, start reading... I still research and read about tuning and I've tuned countless cars over the years with very good success. I also utilize spreadsheets at times and have come to a point where I can recognize what is going on and address on the fly and sometimes it requires many different tables to correct (IE compensations based on temps, pressure, etc).
Also, no, I am not offering any tuning here.

Yea ive tried researching for this too and came up short. None of the videos on youtube are detailed enough to inspire any confidence in this. Ive tried tuning fuel maps on my own when n/a with some success. But i feel my methods are different from how the good pros do it.
