perfect actually i pulled the kit. it was on for over a year and look at these compression numbers...(look at the % difference between the highest and lowest, motor wasnt warm so the numbers themselves are lower than they would have been on a hot motor)

it's all in the tune. miller @ NRG tech FTW

Wow how's your motor holding up with no headgasket
ask the people with the 3mm head gasket that, and im sure the response will be blown hg, overheating etc etc

Evan, How many miles did you put on your setup? Was compression 240 before you boosted?

you also blew up your first motor on the dyno.

I do agree though that 3mm headgaskets can be troublesome. I gave up on them after my 3rd one blew and went back to stock compression. Jeff Evans didn't want me going higher than 12psi on my setup as i wanted it comparatively reliable and I still made 448whp and 302ft/lbs.

That's not really fair saying it blew on the dyno as a result of the stock hg or millers tune.
The motor was supercharged before I got it and the drive out there is probably what killed it (too much timing). After the motor started to see some boost (aka heat) that put the finishing touches on it.

And I went back to the same tuner, drove the same drive with the same timing and fuel map that the motor had when it let go on the dyno. I posted the timing maps and had Tony1 confirm that it was conservative and wouldn't have melted the pistons like that.

500 on pump alone with no HG is awesome but don't think this is typical by any means

The majority of people on here needed meth or a 3mm to reach those levels on 93.

I make 490 on 93 with an HG and an efficient setup and that was on a dyno that reads uber high

With a properly sized turbo and a great mani/exhaust system I'd say your more likley to be around 400-425

Really depends on quite a few factors, but as you can see pump fuel can be enough for very impressive numbers.

its an interesting question really. is there acertaing whp you are aiming for that will put you over the edge into something stronger as in build motor hg etc... or are yo ucurious to just see other peoples 93 octane numbers?

asking how much whp is possible on 93 is not the greates question, more like how much timing can you run before your 93 starts pinging and detonating. thats what really matters.
