So i recently decided to keep my s2000 instead of getting rid of it for a lotus, so now my course of action is turbocharging. Im no stranger to it, I have a 375 whp civic. My issue with that car is i cant go much further on pump gas safely.

now my question is how much horsepower can we get out of S2000s on pump gas before its necessary to switch to higher octane fuels? i know it can depend o the tune, but roughly, willl i be stuck at 400 whp like my civic? or can i get into the 500's on pump gas? I want to keep it daily driveable which means 93 octane only

i made 500 on a stock motor 93 octane no head gasket.

I made 540@18psi on built motor w/6262 on 91 octane.

Did you have meth? or any sort of aid? or did you strictly run 93 and that's it.

535 hp 93 octane, no meth, i do have the inline pro head gasket though

strictly 93 octane, dont want to add a headgasket either.

no no meth. just 93 octane and boost on stock motor, stock HG.

you dont need a HG if you use a good manifold and good turbo setup. a log will not get you 500whp on 93 on a stock motor.
