Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll try the 3.2" pulley out with si trim and see if my motor is healthy enough for upper 400whp. 422 right now on 3.6" pulley with S trim blower.
Found this link for checking blower speed with vortech kits.

Very few run air to air due to how much pressure drop you get. If mainly a track car it may make sense but on the street I've never had any issues with iat's.

I see not many do run air to air. Because the car is tracked its air to air with the SI trim. Will see if 400 will be seen with the 3.8. I will be interested to see your results once you upgrade your trim level. Good luck

I've been over spinning my n1200 for over 2.5 years. I drive my car hard and go redline always. I put about 6000 miles on my car a year and it sees mostly isolated twisties about 75% of the time to stretch out it's legs.

Do you know what the 2.8 spins to blower to? I know the vortech uses a larger crank pulley so a 2.8 on a vortech would be crazy overspinning it and would blow I would imagine. I was thinking maybe a 3.2" I could go down to but not sure if it would last as I am already overspinning it slightly with a 3.6" pulley at 9k. This is with S trim not si(1200)
I have a 3.2 Reichard Racing pulley available if you are interested.
