How much are you putting down with 12psi ? Isn't that really pushing on a stock block.

With how much boost I am running on the stock motor my tuner decided it would be better to go for a more conservative reliable tune versus a strong aggressive one. I am sure we can squeeze extra power by leaning it out more - but i'd rather not.

Honestly though - speaking with numerous tuners they have only had the best things to say about the stock motor in the S2000. It seems numerous companies have experiemented and pushed very high numbers from this motor without touching the internals. In my opinion its all in your tune - if you want strong numbers for a fast quarter mile car.. you are going to have a quarter mile car with reliability being an iffy. If you aim for a more conservative tune you will still get the extra power you are looking for, but much more reliability!
