Default How many miles do you have on your turbo?

This is a post for those who have turbo kits.

Please respond with.

1. When did you install your turbo?
2. What kind of kit do you have?
3. What is your average PSI?
4. Stock internals?
4. How many miles have you put on it?
5. Would you have done anything differently with the kit?

The reason I am making this is to see how long your turbo kits have lasted and how long the engines have gone for.

i have a turbonetics 60-1 HiFi with about 55k miles on it. Absolutely no shaft play and have run it past its efficiency.

ouppssss

1. When did you install your turbo?
Installed on a UR kit making 380whp in 05.
2. What kind of kit do you have?
First a UR kit, now on a Full-race manifold
3. What is your average PSI?
8-22psi
4. Stock internals?
yes
4. How many miles have you put on it?
about 55k
5. Would you have done anything differently with the kit?
yes, i would have gone straight to an efficient equal length manifold like a FR. If i'd bought new, i would have gotten the larger 60-1 or newer precision style turbos.

55k on a turbo? Wow, I had the impression that engines wouldn't last very long with turbo kits on... I guess it was over exagerated.

His turbo has 55k; his engine has been turbocharged for a bit longer I believe.
