Thumbs up How the hell is my car running with a non

Hey fellas I am replacing my TPS with the SOS Throttle body, but stuck with the malfunctioning for now.

It gets stuck at 1.50 volts, doesnt matter what I do with the pedal (only sometimes), yet the car is driving fine (other then high idle at start-up). How does the AEM know how much fuel etc??????????

Is it through the voltage in the MAP?

tps controls some stuff in the tune, but not all. depends on how your car was tuned. boost comp map, map vs rpm, tps vs rpm. bleh bleh, i dont know the tuner terms for that shit, but basically, yout tps voltage is not nec used for every bit of the tune and driveabiliuty stuff.

more then anything, tps is used to activate stuff, and for some part throttle trims.

Yeah your tune is based off of rpm and map sensor pressure signal. Tps is kinda a switch for certain parameters such as when to start idling etc.
