Default Hose size for stock oil cooler?

I'm installing a new oil cooler kit that removes the stock oil cooler. I'll need to re route the coolant line that runs to the stock oil cooler.

What is the inside diameter of the tubing/hose on the stock oil cooler? I don't want to drain all my coolant, so I'm just going to swap it out fast enough and hope I don't make that much of a mess.

I'm going to let it run through the hose from one side to try and minimize air getting into the system.

Default

1/2" and you should still burp the cooling system with the front value next to the tensioner.
