In California you don't have to worry about smog checks until the vehicle is at least 6 years old. I for one don't have to worry about smog checks until 2012!

The hondata page states that it will NOT work for the 06-07.

That is correct. The only thing that Hondata currently offers for the MY06-07 is an ECU reflash.

The Hondata is as close as you can get to OEM. It's the way to go for the +'06 cars.
2006-2007 S2000. The RSX ECU is not compatible with the 06-07 drive by wire, so the S2000 K-Pro cannot be used. Sorry.

it's not working with My06+

Hey is me James, but I have a 2005 which is why the Hondata K-Pro will work with the car. The only thing that sucks is that everyone told me to buy a used RSX K-Pro to use with my car, but Hondata said they won't work on used ECUs. So I purchased new! Will give results within a few weeks hopefully.

I just noticed you are using the UR intercooler setup and I hope you know that it is only efficient to about 10 psi and 400 whp with 11:1 compression or 12 psi and 380 whp with 8.8:1 compression. Basically what I'm saying is if you plan on going over 10 psi you might as well forget it because it can't cool the charge air good enough and you WILL get detonation.

I am using this as a current set-up but as soon as I bump up the HP after my build I am gonna customize my intercooler piping a bit and use a new intercooler! But thanks for the heads up in changing it out. I hope with Hondata and the build my car can safely be beaten of course with a good tune.
