HKS Supercharger couple of questions
Hi guys!
I am going for the HKS Supercharger (please let's avoid the endless questions of GO Turbo or what so ever) I don't really need more than 350 whp and i prefer the supercharger feeling which is close to NA
Still I got a couple of questions and need your super S2ki wisdom!
1 - Do I need as blow of valve or Diverter valve? Or maybe it comes with the Kit but not sure.
2 - I will need to go with a small battery but do no wish to relocate in the boot. Do you have any advice of what kind of bracket / fixing hardware i need to fix a small battery in the original location?
4 - is that necessary to replace the MAF / MAP sensor? if yes which one you would recommend?
5 - any need to replace the OEM radiator for this kind of power?
6 - I would go for the SOS sport clutch + lightweight flywheel
Any other recommendation
thanks for your help!

1. Most kits come with a BOV or diverter valve in my understanding but I'm not sure about the HKS kit.
2. Does the HKS kit require a small battery? Most other SC don't so maybe you could leave the stock battery alone? Perhaps a smaller battery may not have enough juice to get the car cranking with the extra SC belt in place...just a thought.
3. Missing :-)
4. With your power goal I don't believe you will need to replace or upgrade the MAP sensor. I went with the SOS 4 bar one though in case I ever wanted to make more power but I'm happy at the 8 psi and 380 rwhp or so I'm at.
5. The OEM radiator should be fine but if it gets hot where you live or you plan to push the car regularly in auto x or track, grab an upgraded heat exchanger / intercooler. Again, not required for this power range but highly recommended.
6. I would save some money and get better results by doing an ACT HD pressure plate with Honda OEM disc with new bearings and an AP1 flywheel. This combo is what many of us run on the forums and it makes the car easier to drive and maintains a feel close to stock but grabs well at this power range and higher.
Other recommendations might include one step colder plugs and bigger injectors. See my SIG below for my setup. I did go with 1000cc injectors for future upgradability but its been 3 years and honestly I feel like this power range makes the car perfect for all kinds of roads and driving while being safe for the car and its occupants. No plans to upgrade anytime soon. Some high power guys will obviously disagree...but they know more about how to fix things when they break than I do :-)

thanks a lot for the comments!
i am in Dubai so maybe i should upgrade the radiator as you recommended
Regarding the injectors i would go with the HKS fuel upgrade kit which includes inkjectors but they are 650cc and restrictors as well as fuel pump (if this is the kit that goes with it i guess it should be fine (i am targetting 340 / 350 whp)
My mechanics also recommended an oil cooler do you share the idea?
My clutch is very old that i have to replace it anyway that is why i wanted to go with the SOS which is according to them close to OEM for the pedal feeling.
