HKS SSQV mounting alternative for Comptech
I've switched from the stock DV to a HKS. I used a HKS on my TT, and thought I could just swap it to my S. My HKS had a 25mm flange (same size as the Comptech AC flange), which allowed me to mount in place of the stock DV in my TT. Btw, VW/Audi also uses Bosch dvs.
Anyways, I bought a 25mm water heater hose with a few bends - 90* and 45*. I Just used the angled portions to fit the HKS in the position I wanted. No welding, just a few dollars on the hose.
Here's the HKS with the 25mm flange adapter - can find them on ebay. The tip you see is a recirculation adpater, if you don't want to vent to the atmosphere and want to reroute the air back to the intake (I'm not using it).
Hose trimmed and attached to HKS
Mounted in place. Lots of room/clearance and very stable.

Not very loud. You can hear the air releasing...psssshhhh (with a slight high pitch hks sound) on throttle release and shift. But, at 5psi, don't expect any bovs to sound too loud. Plus, the sound is battling the engine and exhaust noise too.
On my TT, I ran 27psi, and now that was loud!
