Help with oil filter relocation kit
Hey guys,
Im in the process of piecing together my new turbo build and I came across an interesting alternative to the Inline Pro oil filter relocation kit. I honestly dont really want to spend a hefty amount of money on the ILP or UR relocation kits, so i searched a bit and found this:
It seems to be a really nice alternative, however, I might run into clearance problems with the Full Race manifold and 3076R that I have because of the way the ports are positioned.
Its basically a complete kit and I would just need some lines for it. For the $80 price tag, it seems to be a good buy. I would just need to know if anyone has any experiences with this or could offer some advice.
Im coming from a Greddy oil relocation kit btw.
Thanks

Thats prob not going to fit with the FR mani, needs to be 90 degrees out of the block to clear the turbo and inlet pipe/filter.. The kits that UR, FR and IP sell are nice but you can piece together the same stuff for way cheaper.. I bought both the same adapters below for under $200 when i redid my car's setup last winter.
You can get both adapters from Canton
p/n 22-597 - UNIV 90 DEGREE ROTATING REMOTE FILTER ADAPTER 20MM (22-597)
and
p/n 22-620 - SBC REMOTE BILLET ALUMINUM OIL FILTER MOUNT (22-620) uses Chevy LS1 filters.
Fittings and braided lines should be around $100 from Jegs or Summit.
U need a Civic or integra (94-01) oil filter block adapter as well if you want to use the Canton adapter.
