Joe, I get heat soaked after accelerating in 3 gears. Then my EMS pulls ign/fuel timing so I have no throttle response. I need to address this issue before our next track day.

I would say FMIC. You will lose 3 PSI but it should run cooler. And its simpler.

Somebody said UR FMIC is limited to 300whp? Why is that? Would tossing a bigger FMIC in fix that?

Won't be able to max out the blowers with a fmic. Will overspin it before you can make the power you would with an aftercooler. Also overwork the blower for less power and can get more belt slip if you have like a 15 psi pulley being used to make 12 psi. I guess if you only wanted like 10 psi max it could be a good way to go though besides losing the throttle response.

I have not tried it, but a lot of people using the aftercooler have gone with a water wetter and they have seen very good results.
