Not really sure. I think a few people are running them with no problems. I'm curious to try one out. As long as the quality is decent, then the gains will certainly be improved over the stop Comptech heat exchange.

The SOS heat exchanger has 1 inch thick/wide end tanks, the fins/core is /2 in thick.
Ill admit, it was a bit pricey the way I went (400 plus 185 for the pump), but everything fits nice, no dicking around making custom brackets that you will worry about when your driving the car.
I'm happy I opened my wallet for this long overdue upgrade.

Which larger heat exchange did you go with? I'm considering going with something like this and just routing my own hoses and bracket...

Time for an update. After a month or so my IATs are down, but still not to where Id like them to be at.
I'm going to write how my car acts, can someone chime in and tell me if there car acts the same?
75-85 degree day with humidity:
On startup (the car is cold), I drive around and after running for 15 minutes the IATS rise to about 100-110. Once I heavily accelerate or sit at idle for a while it rises to 115-125 and will never come back down or get colder unless the car sits forever and cools off (IGN off). When I heavily accelerate the IATs stay at what the cruising temperature would be at (so if im cruising and the IATs are at 120, the WOT temp would stay at 120), however once I shift into the next gear the IATs climb approx 10-20 degrees then once I get into the next gear the IAT will stay at that temperature, and each time i shift into the next gear the temps keep climbing and climbing until im at 150-160 on WOT. They eventually fall back down to 115-125 if i cruise around and do not heavily accelerate.
Sound similar to any of your cars? Or is it time to give up and part everything out? Im really starting to get annoyed with all of this. I really do not want to do meth injection as I am not a fan of it.
I mean honesty, what else can I do? Maybe my IAT sensor is taking a crap? I know my calibration might be off on my scaler, but Im afraid to change the numbers unless I get the car retuned at the same time.

what you just described is perfectly normal for a blower that is being pushed. just spray water. dont have to spray meth also, just spraying water will fix all these problems. TRUST ME.

hmmm, ok. Well are you saying spray it onto the aftercooler/IM or into the engine?
I was looking at the AEM Meth kit. Not to bad of a price. How long would you think the 1 gallon tank would last? Would a 1 gallon tank last for an entire 20 minute track session on a road course? I really do not want to use my trunk to install this as I use my trunk on a regular occasion. You said I can run straight water too right?
The search is not working on this website, and idea where I could find some USEFUL info on meth injection?

Im getting all excited about meth now haha. I cant believe I didn't want to do this before. Im looking into this kit: http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com/p10...oduct_info.html
I plan on using the factory tank for the washer fluid. Then If I need more fluid later on Ill add a 6 gallon tank in the trunk.

I think you worry way to much about certain things. Thats just my $10 bucks im throwing in. Its not like its affecting your car that much. You are basically just as quick as me with less power. I dont see the issue other than you just worry to much about certain things.
