I had a little trouble with mine once when I first setup my sot kit and I saw where I had cut one of the hoses too long and so the hose was kinking and slowing the water through the system. I cut the line a little shorter so it would not kink and it was fine.

I'll definitely be upgrading to the SOS water pump as a first step (yes, I agree that it should be included as a kit when sold with the SOS heat exchanger, it only makes sense to upgrade the water pump at the same time). That is meant as the optimum upgrade alongside the larger SOS heat exchanger.
If that does not work out. Aquamist spray onto the heat exchanger is an option to consider. It works wonders.

I looked at a fellow S2ki members car that has the SOS you tune kit on it. It is the CM10P7-1 12v 20mm aka 3/4 inch outlet/inlet pump. SOS claimed 7.5 GPM with this pump, however the ratings are different in the handboost that was in the box of the pump. at 1.2 amps it should have a flow rate of 5.0 GPM with back pressure of .10 bar, so with less back pressure it will flow more water, which "should give it 7.5 GPM as stated by SOS...that is assuming they tested it correctly.

I have read that it is also used in some SC'd Mustangs and Mercedes.
There is one on Ebay now for $115 shipped.

Thanks for the info! here is the link of technical specs on that pump.

My friends dad has an old Holley fuel pump laying around that we toyed with tonight, we are going to see if it flows better than my COMPTECH that I will be removing tomorrow after work, I hope my pump is bad...I'm running out of reasonable ideas.
