Well Ok,

Wiring the harness "his own way", what do you mean by that.

Those who have disected the greddy harness know that the harness isnt wired correctly for vtec correctly.

Adjustment of the harness is necessary, but what other adjustments besides vtec does he make.
He changes the harness around a bit, not just the VTEC wiring. He does it in a way that he feels is optimal, not the way Boomslang or Greddy do it (not counting the VTEC wiring difference).

I can't tell you exactly how he rewires it and he doesn't share that information either.

Well there's only one other thing that he could possibly wire in.
So I am assuming it's that.

I've seen him first hand change 6-12 different wires around, not just one or two. This is even without wiring in o2 feedback, CEL knock light, Power light (using immobilizer key sign) etc.

Like I said, I am not sure what exactly he is rewiring.

Yea.

Try giles@holyrollerdyno.com to see if he would come through.

Mark (mugenrios2k) is good too.

Also, can't you guys get Mase to come? He seems to be very mobile.

I had my kit installed, tuned, and the car runs better than stock. I had one issue when I installed it, but it turned out that the EMU box had an AP2 harness instead of AP1, quick and easy fix. Car has been trouble and maintenance free.

Also, Giles tuned my car, so that may be a big part of it as well. I would drive up to 1500 miles to get him to tune my car.

I've had my greddy kit for 15K miles now on my daily driver - no problems at all. I tuned it for $60 (got 6 dyno pulls for $10 each) and did the fuel and timing mods myself. The guys at the speed shop, PDX Tuning, were kind enough to watch and listen for predetonation during the runs.

Nice thing about the ULT is that you still have all the OBDII sensor input so your knock sensor and all the other sensors still work.

I'm in the process of changing to a Precision 5857 billet, ball brg turbo for more power but the little Greddy delivered. I've beaten many "faster" cars with it, all on remote roads in Mexico...

ps - when I'm done I'll have the first remote mount turbo S2000 - stay tuned.

Thanks for all your responses. I actually think I may stick with the Kraftwerks kit. It just seems like such a headache with the Greddy Turbo.
