Congrats on the turbo kit.
You will love the extra power no matter what you make.
My first turbo kit was the UR kit.. just an FYI that 38 mm wastegate gasket will blow a lot. You will have to change that out a lot too so buy at least 10 lol
other then that it was a good first turbo kit

If there was not any back pressure in the mani and in the head while using a log mani, then why when you change your log to a sidewinder mani you gain about 100whp at the SAME psi? You will see.
You stated.. (the manifold is so small and the opening (wastegate) is so big) Your right about 1 of them, the mani being small. That 38mm wastgate hole is not big!
try to think about it like this...... Why do people run 3" exhaust? why do people run ram horn,sidewinder mani's etc? why do people run 44 and 60mm wastegates? why do people port there head?
The answer to all the questions as... Air/exhaust Flow!
Now lets go back to the statement you made... (the manifold is so small) and now think about all that exhaust.
On a 2nd note.... read up on boost creep and why it happens.
just get it tuned and comeback on here and post a data log of the pull your last pull and post dyno graph.

He is running only 91 octane, with a small 50 trim my turbo is 68mm .......And 94 octane .... Ur right though we will see ...... If I make 320 at 7-8 psi , 18 psi wil be around 420 ... No ??

Anyways I do appreciate your input ... I definitely know u know what's up !! I just couldn't afford a crazy sidewinder set up .....

no plots, my wideband gauge is wired in for the 5v reference on the ecu so we used that, map and boost gauge to watch boost,
I have a stock clutch and didnt think it was going to last the dyno session but it was awesome no smells or anything, car is a monster wish i got one sooner.
i have all the head parts sitting here, and once the car goes away for winter Im going to take the motor and trans out as 1 unit with subframe and all, all in 1 shot and I will put a clutch in it at that time, im too lazy to pull the trans twice so close to the end of season...
it was waste gate boost (8.7psi), 1000cc injectors, walbro 255 with 12v mod, 94 octane gas, plugs gapped to .028, ap2 coil packs, 3inch turbo back, velocity stack, stock motor and trans and clutch, im looking for 20psi next season revving to 9500, and if funds allow, v160 swap with r200. (god i hope they allow)
stock other then that...
