i built a car with that turbo - equal length manifold, when boost came on- and the key word is when (5700rmp), it was violent car pulled real hard, almost non driveable for a street car, no need for a turbo that big, many run the gt35r, with great success (500hp on stock motor on in-linepro log manifold) i like the 3076 - spools faster than the 35 and and still can get you to 500hp.

Lovefab ran a GT4088R for a while.

The GT4094R is a bigger turbo (on the compressor side). Most prefer either the GT4088R or GT4294R.

agreed. If your looking for the 40R hotside then just stick with the 88mm.....If you really are iching to go to a 94mm then do yourself a favor and go with the better matched wheel for it and get a 42R.

Our s2k put down 670rwhp on a 35r. the car is just nasty on the street. the weak link is the transmission though.

If you put a 4094r on....Can you afford the aftermarket transmission? 5-10k? because you will NEED this.

ive tried gt4088 and gt4094 in different housings. i've found out that they make about 50hp more than gt35r and a lag similar to gt42.

so basically its kinda pointless to use a 40R because its gonna lag similar to a 42R. So either use a GT35R for 650whp or go baller status with the 42R.
