They take off the syncro and weld on a big luged plate that makes it hold a lot better and its always available to public the only thing is u need the gto trans do to its better gear ratio for our cars and then having the bell made u have to ways on that force were they need the t56 and your stock s2000 bell and its 500.00 or full custom steel bell like I'm doing is 1000 but I'm going for track leagle stuff so it is also a scatter shield

Dog boxes have nothing to do with straight cut gears, you can have helical and spur (straight) cut gears in a dog box, the term "dog" simply refers to the gear engagement when syncros are not used, and the dog teeth of the gear are alot bigger, and spaced further apart which allow for faster shifting, as there is no syncro to slow the gear down before the gear change can be made....

The "face-plated" option you are using is converting 1-4 gear into a "dog box" style engagement

I would love to learn more about the T56 trans, but It is nearly impossible to read Bobbys posts, they are incoherent ramblings with a bunch of hella gangster talk . seems really cool though

Makes my head hurt trying to read some of his posts. T56 sounds like a pretty solid option though.

So this will work with almost any s2k clutch or do you need a disc that works with the t56?
