Send your turbo out to FP and upgrade it to a FP3586. You can keep t3 or go t4 if you want, up to you. With 725-750whp mid 9's can be had in a practical street car, or obviously faster if setup properly.

HTA's have performed very well from what I have seen even on honda. I've seen 3-4 local hondas making 700+whp on them, seems like it would fit the needs of the OP perfectly. What are some reasons you are suggesting he not get one?

I wasnt picking it apart . I truelly wanted to see another s2000 besides me running the HTA86. I made 661whp and my car is well setup
You can make serious amount of power on a t3 with certain setups/turbos. I just dont think hta86 is one of them turbos.

Obviously there are not many, if any, other s2000s running this turbo. It hasn't been used very much in the honda community all together.
IMO 700-800whp is becoming a lot more common goal in the 4 cylinder community. People want street friendly 9 second cars as crazy as that seems, and with E85 available at many pumps it only makes it easier. Now a lot of people jump to the 6262 or 6265 but with all the issues precision turbos have been having I think the Forced Performance lineup would be my first choice. FP uses garrett CHRA's which are very reliable and their own billet wheels which flow a good amount of air. Also given anyone with a 35r can upgrade to this compressor wheel is a plus. For 700-750whp this would be my first choice.
