Default gt30 greddy

Well I brought my car to the same shop to get tuned yesterday and it turns out that I have lost power doing some upgrades to my kit. Sorry no graphs were given to me

Original tune = 242 whp
Mods= 3" downpipe back, 12psi, meth injection

New tune = 234 whp
Mods= 12psi, 3" turbo back exhaust, gt3076 turbo .82 AR, upgraded all charge piping to 2.5", upgraded couplers and upgraded to T-clamps / methanol injection/emanage ultimate/ 750 RC injectors.. I did a boost leak test today and found a leak at the 2nd coupler and at the BOV. Fixed them. I was going to boost more but my pressure sensor did not arrive in time so I was only able to do 12 psi.

I know it’s not in the tune since Mase was tuning it... He tuned about 7 boosted s2ks over the weekend.. From what he could read from the previous cars, he said I should have been at around 300 whp on the same dyno (Heartbreaker mustang). We could not figure out what was going on... And he was in a rush to get to the airport s I was cut a little early... We looked for an exhaust leak, but he said usually they are very audible, and nothing could be heard... He said it felt like there was a large restriction somewhere. I looked at all the piping today and there was no restriction. He said the turbo might be screwed up as well...He said to take it apart and make sure everything is fine internally... I am going to do that right after the compression test..

I took some pics of my plugs and it looks as though it has been detonating retty bad...

I am going to be doing a compression test tomorrow to make sure the engine is still in good shape...

And now back in my home town I am seeing very lean AFR at WOT so i won't be driving this thing hard for a whil

Any recomendation on what to check is appreciated

not too long..... i think maybe 3000 kms or so.. I have changed them twice this summer...and i have put about 10, 000 KM's on it.. So about 5k KM's each.. I thought they were good for like every 10km or so.. i forget what they are but i will post theNGK code later... I am not going to be driving the car anymore this season so I will change them over the winter and see how everything goes...

Are the plugs a step colder? That's absolutely terrible for your dyno. Hope everything is okay for you Chad, let us know what's up. I'm doing the same thing as you.

nope it is definately engaging.. That is what Mase thought at first because he couldn't hear it engaging.. But then when we changed the vtec engagement point it was very audible so it was def kickin in..

hmm, i mean if the turbo is producing the desired boost, how can it be broken? your seeing 12psi at IM. soooooo, maybe valve timing is off? did you remove and reinstall any of that stuff? def do compression test and maybe even a leak down test. you should make more power with gt30 over greddy stock turbo. no question about it.

Your baseline stock greddy turbo dyno is very confusing too. Do you have any of the plots? Something seems to be very wrong unfortunately.
