wow I cant beleive I havnt seen this thread. Sorry your having issues. I'm not sure what to recommend you do, you have pretty much done/tried everything I would have tried. Well, my ony idea would be to ditch the piggyback e-manage for K-Pro. Its a big jump I know, but it would take away the equation of always questioning the emanage. I could send you my tune via email to run for a while. You would have to redo fuel injectors ad whatever map your using (RC650s, and SOS map). But its a great starting point.

...Or maybe one of the injector seal rings will fall off one of the ID1000's as I pulled the fuel rail off, and disappear forever. FML. Now I can go ask auto parts stores how long it takes to order one.

Thank God I followed the service manual steps to let the fuel pump run (without cranking the engine) and check for leaks. Fuel is pouring out of the fuel rail @ the first injector. Yay!
I think I'm going to take the hint and go Corvette shopping tonight.

Or better yet, just stick with it and fix the S2K!

Well, it turns out that '08 / '09 triple black Z51 convertible C6's don't just magically present themselves in the Atlanta metro area. So I did go look at a number of 'Vettes, but I didn't buy one.
Update - took the fuel rail back off and discovered I'd pretty badly mangled the one of the o-rings on an injector. It was caught between the injector and the rail, leaving a gap for the fuel to get around. No dealer parts counters were open, so we pulled an o-ring off an RB20DET injector from my neighbor's project car. So far it's working great. Took the S2000 out for a 30-minute drive (after carefully checking for leaks) and it's driving beautifully. Holds idle perfectly smooth, no dips, no stutters, nothing.
So I think now we know the problem was either with my ID1000's or my E-manage Ultimate. Most of us would immediately point our finger at the EMU, especially since my tuner isn't that familiar with it. I'm gonna drive around NA for a while and think about my next step. Meanwhile I had to turn down a meet-up with a hot asian chick because of car problems, so my weekend was pretty much full of FAIL.
Well, I say I'll drive around NA, but since the SC and aftercooler are still in place (but the belt is off the SC), technically I'm "NA intercooled". Gonna have to check my IAT's for fun.
