Groupon caused a CEL

Groupon caused a CEL
So I found this killer deal on Groupon for a hand wash, wax and interior detail for $19 at a place I've used lots of times before. Bought it, took the car in and went to lunch. Came back an hour later and got in the car to find the check engine light on. The car began stalling every time I left it in neutral for more than a few seconds unless I kept my foot on the gas.
CEL was P0170, lean condition on 'bank 1' according to the Torque app on my phone.
I've had this same situation happen before, and thought my tuner had fixed it somehow because the car pretty much stopped stalling after my last re-tune. (I cleared the CEL before checking to see what it was last time. Oops.)
What kind of troubleshooting should I do? Is this something for my tuner to look at, or a local repair shop, or both? Grr. This is Groupon's fault!

I think so too. The stalling thing has been an intermittent issue for half a year now. I'm just bummed because I was planning to take it to the drag strip this coming Friday and I'm not sure I'll have time to get it checked out before then.

I'm on Greddy EMU. Actually my IACV is bypassed but I left it open. Need to find some caps to cap off the tubing leading into it. Wonder if water fell in thru the hood vent...
I disconnected the battery and removed the ECU because we were welding on the car this weekend. No CEL since I hooked it all back up. So I guess I'll still take it to the track, since it's not recurring.
...Meanwhile I suspect my SOS clutch is starting to slip. Which brings me to agree with RedLineS2k10 - the car seems dead set on crapping out before this event. I'm probably gonna run 15 sec @ 83mph...

Coolant bypassed won't effect it during normal ambient temps.
Iacv does the job of making sure car doesn't stall with 0% throttle. I wouldn't imagine bypassing (not coolant bypass as that is fine) it on a street car that has it.

That shouldn't effect its performance in above freezing temps. Sounds like
Bad iacv
VAcuum leak
Or if adjustable in emu bad iacv tuning.
A way to cheat is to raise idle to 1000. Really helps.

Thanks - great suggestions. It just died again sitting at a light and threw a CEL again. I'm kinda happy that something is repeatably wrong. Now if I can just get it fixed before Friday...
