Shit, didn't think of that. Maybe that'll work. I need to see the length of line to know for sure, but that is deff. an option. I know that the lines arn't the nicest to make go where you want them too, they are very stiff.

You sir, get a gold star for today.

wait, don't I need a thermostat to help the car warm up? Are there any other negatives to not using the thermostat?

How does the thermostat work with that 4 way block?

If your using a radiator type oil cooler (which the greddy cooler is), you are going to want to have a thermostat otherwise your oil isn't going to reach operating temp (in the colder months), increasing wear on the engine.

I normally don't drive the car when it gets to be cold. I won't be here from the end of december to about may, so I won't have to worry too much about it.

I think I may just run it without for right now and right before I leave buy the 4 way connector and be done with it.

Besides I always wait until the car hits 2 bars on the temp gauge before I go anywhere. And after that I drive like a grandma until it gets warmer.

That should be fine right? It'll warm up slowly.

Well it's more common in the colder months but it'll happen even during the summer. On my morning commute to work, my oil temps barely hit 200F and it's full blown summer here in NJ.

I'm only using a heat exchanger, an air cooler would be much more efficient and I would expect much colder temps (not good). It's ALWAYS recommended to get a thermo on it.

yeah, the 4 way one has a thermostat in it. I bet NJ summers are a lot more tolerable than this crap here.

It's been 100+ for a while now, and it doesn't look like it's gona stop...

Hey, after you get it put together with the 4way, post your oil pressure numbers. I would really like to know.
