I have 8k miles on my kit.

I noticed my car to start knocking recently @ 4k rpm.

I went to make my timing adjustments inside the EMU. I proceeded to review the engine components, and i noticed that the manifold cracked between the 2nd and 3rd runners.

I just got the email from Pang.

He said $425 shipped.

I'll order it soon.
Nice!

Great PFab offers a solution for cracked manis.

So is it a "direct" replacement for the Greddy mani, meaning, will the turbo be located at the same spot, so it doesn't necessitate a new downpipe?
- I imagine it is, but do share what Pang told you so he doesn't get the same question 20 times.

Take pics and post them once you get your new piece!

PFAB stuff does look sturdy, nice welds

[QUOTE=TRBOKEV,Feb 18 2010, 03:25 PM] Luis, I say we take the cracked manifold and throw it through the front window down at Greddy in Irvine..

Lol, I am a professional lurker but I usually read the car talk forum nowadays as I have pretty much lost all interest in modifying my s2k any further after 10 years. I'm just trying to decide if I should modify the house or the GT-R first. My head says the house, but I feel an urge to do something subtle with the monster.

it is a complete replacement. you can reuse your turbo or he can add a wastegate and you can get a bigger turbo. you reuse your downpipe unless you get a different turbo. if mine cracks i'll buy a pfab
