GDM S2K- whats your problem? If you hate greddy so much, fine. Seems like ur disappointed with what they've been doing. IMO, come up with a more constructive way to give feedback, if u want to be heard, at least sound mature.

Even though i would consider myself biased towards HKS. i really hope Greddy/Trust makes it through this one. Greddy has been a major player in the US import scene, it would suck to see them go

^^^ i agree, you don't have to support greddy for what it is today, but at least realize that they are a huge part of the foundation of the import scene today. Back in the late 70's and early 80's there were only a fraction of the tuning companies that there are today, and Greddy was one of those companies. It's like the concept of being respectful to your elders. lol You don't have to like them now since they're old and grumpy, but at least respect what they have been through and the accomplishments they have made.

Don't get me wrong, i support Greddy, never thought of them in a bad way, actually i respect them for coming out with so many products for so many platforms. It's just i used to work at HKS USA and well..you know

I think they are still one of the best with carb legal, and reliable products, stuff we Americans demand. When i found out about this news, it just makes me sad knowing how long they've been around, especially how much they've support the US. Hopefully they can make a turnover.

dont hate on greddy bc they have turbo kits that dont make a ton of power, they are great for people new to fi or for carb legal, really the only entry level kit for our car

I hate the mentality that this kit is "under powered" or, as you put it, "entry level". It is neither. It's designed for quick spool. Not everyone is going for high power. This kit makes the car faster, and is, most importantly, very predictable and controllable. I have full boost as soon as I leave a curve, and the delivery is smooth. Not trying to chew you, just saying...

well in 2005 hks had a revenue of 75 million usd, but they do have double the employees trust had, so who knows they are publicly traded though which could possibly make it harder for them to go under, but not that much better

*edit* greddy has a revenue of 743,000 usd, much smaller then hks

i agree its mostly an entry level kit as most ppl see it as a cheap way to get into FI

however, for those who prefer a turbo for quick spool for an auto-x type and street set up, this entry level is kit is really the perfect kit..(getting a bigger turbo would mean delayed spool and more top end power at the sacrifice of low end power, which would be seen as a downgrade for this type of driver)

for those who think they can start shutting down people highway, its most definitely an entry level kit that will disappoint you quickly if this is your goal (that is to race ppl on the highway and beat them)
