Greddy declares bankruptcy....

Greddy for the most part, is a performance manufacturer. It's hard to buy a "Greddy" replica turbo kit. A lip or a bumper sure as hell isn't going to put a manufacturer in 63mm in debt. They will be bought by another company, and continue.
I guess us Greddy kit owners can kiss our warranty goodbye.

I think another thing that is hurting this market in general is the strictness of the emissions.
Getting exhaust tickets prevents people from buying exhaust that are "flashy" looking.

If I remember correctly declaring bankruptcy in the US is a good way to cancel alot of your debt. I think they may be doing this to clear up some old debt. But then agin you never know.

LOL its just the down economy and nothing more. Most people just dont have the money to blow on BS like they use to. Instead they are spending it on the increased prices for commodities like gas, food and everything else that is getting a bump with rising inflation etc...

Chris, please let us know if you can confirm this rumor about Greddy. You seem to have the closest contact with them on this board. Also my turbo died but since it was purchased used I chalked it up to my stupidity. Were could I send it to figure out what's wrong with it or is it just not worth it? If I could fix it I could sell it.

it's not a rumor, Trust declared CH11 yesterday.
As i said, Greddy says they are going to do business as usual.
Please go into more detail about your turbo, what does "died" mean. yeah unfortunately, 2nd hand turbos definitely don't have a warranty. But you can contact greddy and send it in for a rebuild depending on what's wrong with it.
