It also fits the tunnel without any mods and the cost is around the same. The Samsonas also weighs about 50 lbs less and utilizes the stock s2k bell and can handle around 1800 hp.. This is the route I chose over my previous T56 RPM/Gforce kit.

Not dogging the decision you made, just curious on the choice.
This kit is $9000 ALL IN. Top to bottom not a penny more than 9 grand. The samsonas box alone is around 9-10 grand plus I’d need a very nice twin on top, a shifter, a driveshaft, the bell housing, new clutch lines, new throw out bearing, all the accessories, the mount, etc. The grannas kit is COMPLETE for 9k. On top of that, dog gears for the t56 are under 3k through liberty so there’s plenty of potential for future upgrades. Samsonas is a great unit, but still around $4000 more than this option.

Hello all, its been about a month since my last update. MANY things have happened since. This kit comes with tilton part number 62-899 to mount the throwout bearing to the transmission. I believe this is the incorrect part as I was UNABLE to get a proper 4mm air gap between the throw-out bearing and the pressure plate. My tuner at Art of Assembly was able to hook me up with Tilton Part number 62-900 which makes the TOB mount sit about a half inch higher. See images below:

62900 vs 62899
Now after I got that installed, I remeasured the pressure plate clearance and honestly had a lot of trouble with the clutch disengaging fully. Maybe Ill post the video of how I did it. Eventually with enough messing around I was able to get it to disengage fully at the way bottom of the pedal. I also had a ton of problems getting the trans mount to line up. I ended up drilling the mount to make the holes bigger so I could have more clearance. With everything installed I decided to go take it out for a few drives. The pedal is stiff, not ironman clutch stiff, but its a workout. BUT the engagement is smoooooooooooth. This thing doesnt rattle. Its not an on/off switch either. Its awesome. The T56 is a blast to drive. The ratios for a high power car like mine is perfect. Its actually faster than my DCT setup. On the street on 29psi I was able to run 60-100 at just over 2 seconds. Only 29psi!!! Then the fun ended....

I was driving the car and I heard a HORRIBLE sound. Towed the car home on a flatbed. Long story short my flywheel bolts backed out and destroyed the clutch, flywheel, and crankshaft. Don't know why they backed out but they did. Unfortunate.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Damn man! That's a huge bummer.

Could you have forgotten to torque them or use loctite?

Maybe? But if you look at my post on 8-14 I specifically mention torque the bolts to OEM spec. Could’ve been an honest mistake but I don’t know how I could miss something like that.

Were they aftermarket bolts? I had some Chinese made bolts that literally would NOT stay torqued.
