S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

So what would be the best oil for someone who lives in temps ranging from 0 degrees F to 90 degrees F with no cat, a gt30 turbo, oil change intervals every 3500 miles, and the cheapest overall cost?

sorry for the specific request but i've read through this whole thing and i dont really understand all the different brands and acronyms.

I'm within 200 miles of my next oil change so I want to buy my oil very soon. I want to spend the least amount of money (dont need any rediculous oil, just something that will work decently).

If anyone could recommend something that meets those guidlines, that would be great. thanks

Is the brad penn 10w40 good enough for both N/A and turbo applications in freezing temps?

I'm about to buy it..just want to make sure it wont be too thick in the winter.

^^^ well I believe the 10 is in reference to the degree. So any temperatures that dip bellow 10 degrees I assume will not flow properly. The 40 is in reference to the hot flow. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

From all i have heard on turboing the s, it's best to run a slightly higher hot side oil, ie 40w as in 10w40. I have been running Castrol Syntec full syn 10w40 since 3000 miles on the car and going turbo, change the oil every 1000 miles and i have had no issues with oil consumption at all with the car since day one.

Im just anal about oil changes with having a turbo. I dont like the oil being dirty. Besides that, i only put about 1500 miles a yr on it.
