It has a very high viscosity index. The crude its produced from is 100% from pennsylvania and is not the normal crude oil we are used to seeing. Its the same thing as kendall gt-1 back in the day which has been used for years with great success. Higher zinc levels also in this oil, which is good as well. I did some research on some oil testing and what this particular test found was that brad penn, and royal purple ( motorcycle blend ) were the best oils. Mobil 1 was ok, but not great.

I've used this stuff in every car I've built/owned...
Those vehicles include...
1. A 93 Civic with a built/sleeved B18C1 and a T61 T4 turbo. The car made 582whp on 29psi and ran a best of 11.88 @ 133 on drag radials. Had about 20k miles of street driving and numerous passes at the track.
2. A 91 240sx with a VG30dett swap converted to a single T61 T4 turbo. The car made 519whp on 21psi and ran a best of 11.30 @ 121 on drag radials. That car also seen alot of street and track action and that motor is in my buddies S14 that will be at IA this year (as well as being there last year).
3. My current car, 02 S2000. Custom GT30 turbo setup running 12psi on 93 and 14psi on E85. Ran a best of 12.36 @ 119 on street tires and have put about 2k miles on the setup so far.
So my $.02... I think people are looking into the subject a little too much, just go with what Honda, or whatever the manufacturer, says.

I just bought some MOBIL 1 10w-40, the only thing that bothers me is it is for "High mileage vehicles" or so it says on the label, i dont know if that means it has some BS type of additives or not?
