S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

A good oil weight for turbo applications.

I've heard the same thing from Tony Palo about that...if I'm not mistaken he swears by it.

Pricey though..lol.

I'm still using Mobil 1 10w30

If pricey is 56.00 for a 12 quart case then youre silly. Thats cheaper than mobil 1.

I am sorry but I can't believe eveyone buys into the oil advertising crap. I am waiting to hear someone tell me to add ZMAX and Prolong. Here is a post I put up a while back and it is a good start for those that don't walk through life with blinders.

Well I am trying to decide what weight to go with for the Brad Penn. For the record Honda calls for 10w30 and i have a watercooled turbo and I dont lose but maybe 1/2 quart in 3000 miles !! But I know the TCT noise and I want to quiet that and I want my oil to last longer...the mobil just doesnt stay clean for too long. What do you think...10w40 Brad Penn or 20w50? The 20w50 is so thick, but others use it in their turbo s2k's so I dunno. Maybe ill just go with 10w40 and give it a little better film strength , little thicker.
Try 10/40 first , see what your results are and then make the decision on the 20/50 at that point.

As for the oil getting dark, I find that that has to do with the tune more then the oil itself. Though running to thin of oil can cause more burn off and make it dark quicker as well. I find that an overly rich afr causes my oil to get dark quicker due to some amount of fuel washing that occurs I emagine. Lean best is ideal and if you run a water/meth kit which i recomend for every FI set up, you can get away with running a leaner afr, my oil quality seems to last much longer with this approach, which is nice since it does give you an indication of how well your engine is operating. I do not burn any oil at all in 3k miles. It gets changed at this point as well. No more trying to extend to 5-7k now that I am FI.

Well I drained my mobil 10w30 the other day and it was actually still a honey color @ 1500miles. So thats not alltogether terrible. The Brad Penn oil is gonna be good...ive done a lot of reading on it and read what people are saying about it.Its great stuff, been around for lots of years and used on VERY FAST CARS with great success. I will let you know how the 10w40 works out since thats what I ordered.

Brad Penn isnt advertising, its been around for years. Muscle car guys swear by it, as does Tony Paulo, and others that I trust.

It has a very high viscosity index. The crude its produced from is 100% from pennsylvania and is not the normal crude oil we are used to seeing. Its the same thing as kendall gt-1 back in the day which has been used for years with great success. Higher zinc levels also in this oil, which is good as well. I did some research on some oil testing and what this particular test found was that brad penn, and royal purple ( motorcycle blend ) were the best oils. Mobil 1 was ok, but not great.
